In Memoriam Rob de Kraa 1947 – 2024
Last Friday, August 16th 2024, we were sadly informed that our Founder and CEO of H2Fuel Holding, Rob de Kraa had passed away. Rob de Kraa was former co-owner of Joint Services International (JSI) which business he sold in 2007. From that moment Rob founded various businesses in pharmaceutical and hi-tech. This was when H2Fuel was founded and started his journey to develop a Solid Hydrogen as a safe alternative for standard Hydrogen Carriers.
H2Fuel developed over the years its concept from safe Hydrogen releases out of the solids to the regeneration of Boor from the Spent Fuel. It was because of Rob his Vision, Entrepreneurship, Persistence and Courage that he started pushing Hydrogen as an alternative Energy source some 17 years ago! At that stage the interest in Hydrogen as an Energy solution was zero to nothing, but Rob had this vision that Hydrogen was going to be the Energy Source of the future and with all the issues around Hydrogen as a free element and the existing alternatives to transport and store it, he truly believed in the Solid Hydrogen solution of our H2Fuel concept.
We will remain making H2Fuel’s development a success, in the spirit and honor of Rob his legacy. Although his Vision, Entrepreneurship, Persistence and Courage will be greatly missed by our Team we are dedicated to make H2Fuel “the Hydrogen carrier” of the future as he envisaged.
A unique person has passed away, but may he Rest in Peace as we continue to build his Vision.
